The pleasure of networking

I've written quite a few posts about the benefits of networking and making new contacts. You also had an opportunity to follow how I put it into practice. Now, as a new member of the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce I intensified my networking activity and you can have a glimpse of it here.
Can you find me?

  1. Ewa, I think this is great! I also belong to my local Chamber, but your seems to be much more fun :) At the meetings here we are usually sitting down, and we only get to network with people on our table. Granted they have what they call "After Hours," where the ambient is a little more informal, but still nothing as fun as yours! Amazing how cultural differences can be seen in such a short video; always liked the European way better... is more relaxed. What do you think?

  2. Silvina, I have to say that it's a real honour and pleasure to be involved in such events as this one. It was extremely relaxed and fun but it's all thanks to the wonderful people who were there. I can't help but mention that the President of the Chamber could also make a career as a comedian (although he's a great entrepreneur) as his speeches always evoke peals of laughter.
As for the cultural differences, this might be the case but I can't imagine anything like that in Poland for example, where people are much more serious. Would love to hear from people who attend networking events in other parts of the world. What are your impressions?
